People who can help

Three ways to find support.

Connect with other families, talk things through with Matt, or contact the specialist service. You can use more than one.

Family connection

Family connection through DeafToo

A place to connect with families who understand.

  • Meet other parents and carers of deaf children.
  • Share everyday experiences, ideas and encouragement.
  • Build friendships and local family connections.
  • Feel less alone as you find your way.
More about the family group

A private space for adult parents and carers with a connection to Stockport. Families using BSL, speech, Cued Speech, home languages or mixed approaches are welcome.

Membership is by request and administrator approval. Once requests are open and approved, the administrator will send a private invitation. Other WhatsApp group members can usually see your phone number.

This is support from other families, not a replacement for specialist or clinical advice.

Use the single joining form above to prepare your request. It does not send anything until a receiving route is confirmed.
